Enrollment and Donations for Book Clubs and Storytimes

Donation By Will
If your child is eligible for free and reduced lunch at school then there is not a set fee for you to pay for the book box. Whatever you would like to donate is appreciated if you could afford to give.
Book Box Fee
Due to the pandemic there are several schools offering free and reduced lunch for all students. If you are not normally free and reduced lunch please pay the price of the book box. The boxes ranges from $18-$25 a month. It depends on the book that month and the themed items in the box.
Book club services with a certified librarian and volunteers are always free along with any crafts we may complete. Any donations you make will cover the complete book box.
At Will Donations for Storytimes
Monthly storytimes will be an at will donation if you could afford it. Storytimes are for all children birth-third grade. Storytimes will always have a themed craft that A Journey With Words will provide.
Duration of Programs
Book club programs will range from 3 to 6 weeks depending on the book. This includes the initial meeting and activities. Most book clubs will be held on Saturdays. Friday evenings are okay as well if requested. Book clubs are usually multiple sessions due to the activities that we will complete each session. However, for older groups we are able to meet only twice if requested.
If a specific day of the week and time works best for you please send us a message in the chat. If we could form a group of four or more then we will try to accommodate that time keeping in mind during the week all meetings must start after 5pm. Book clubs could range from one hour to an hour and half depending on age.
Storytimes are single picture book stories with craft. Storytimes will occur once a month starting late morning or early afternoon depending on monthly calendar. Storytimes will be an hour.
The registration forms are below for each age group. Please sign up completing each field and we will look at the amount of interested registrants and create groups. We will then contact you. Happy Reading!
