This young lady truly inspired me. Aneeqa is a jr. in college and she immigrated from Pakistan. She shared that she wished that she saw people like herself in stories growing up. She really warmed my heart and her journey with reading has helped make her the intelligent young lady she is today.

Listening to her speak made it even more clear that A Journey With Words has to get multicultural books in all kids hands so they could feel a sense of belonging.
