About A Journey With Words
A Journey With Words offers a (2-4 week) program of peer interaction and discussion to stimulate curiosity and excitement for the sheer benefits of reading. Our child participants will be introduced to reading for pleasure while using books as an escape to an entirely different world. A Journey With Words will serve as a portal allowing the mind to visit unknown places and get sneak peeks of other cultures. Themed book boxes will be provided to each participant along with activities to seal in the joy that comes along with reading.

A Journey With Words intends to share different cultures with participants through stories and discussions. Our number one goal is for children to be able to see themselves in an encouraging light throughout the pages of a story. In addition, for all children to experience the gift of multicultural literature.
